Our family is really needing a Vacation. We have not done a true vacation in 3 years. For the past 3 years we have been blessed to spend our time away on a Mission Trip to Honduras. We love that place and the people but we will not be returning this summer. So as a family we need time to just relax and enjoy each other.
Due to the economy and the type of job my husband has, we are having to look at what we are going to do. Do we go ahead and go somewhere just for a shorter time or do we stay at home and do day trips? Our children are 19 & 16 so short day trips to a park or museam is not as appealing to them as it once was.
We are have decided to take a long weekend and go somewhere. We will leave Friday and return on a Monday. Now the question is WHERE? and How much do we need to spend?
Over the next few days, I am going to be blogging about travel and how to save before and while you are traveling. Hopefully through this I will share some ways that we save as we travel with you and also begin to figure out where we are going to go?
