I bought a box of Kelloggs CinnabonBars last week. I was very intriged by the thoughts of having the taste Cinnabon at my beck & call for breakfast. We have a Cinnabon shop in one of our malls but it is 1/2 way across town so I don't get to go very often.
When I opened the box and the wrapper, I could smell what smelled about like if I was standing counter of Cinnabon. The pastry is soft. The bar is about 1 1/2 inches wide.
When, I tasted the bar, it tasted good but the smell is better than the taste. I think Kelloggs has done a good job trying to bring that wonderful taste of a cinnabon into a bar but I don't think you can ever reproduce the warm, smooth, creamy cinnamon roll from Cinnabon.
I will buy this item again for the house. If you want to try this bar, you can get a $1 off coupon from the side bar on the left for Coupons.com
This is a product that I would recommend especially if you like cinnamon. Click here to see the nutritional value.
I received in the mail this week a sample of the new Blueberry Muffin Pop tart. I am not one that eats a lot of pop tarts but I do love blueberry muffins so this one intrigued me. I opened up the package and I could smell a blueberry muffin. I have always bought the brown sugar and cinnamon pop tarts for my husband and daughter which don’t have a strong smell, so I was surprised at the smell of the blueberries. The top of the pop tart has the white frosting with sprinkles of blue granules and brown granules. I think the brown is to represent the crumbles from the muffin. When I broke open the pop tart it has white cream filling with blueberry cream mixed with in. The taste is good. I think the smell is more like a blueberry muffin than the taste but the taste is not bad.
I would not buy these just for me but if my family liked fruity pop tarts I would buy a box for them to try. The only huge negative I that see with this pop tart flavor is it has 11 grams of fat and 71 grams of carbs for two pop tarts. Kellogg’s pop tarts does offer low fat pop tarts in other flavors but I am not sure if the blueberry muffin flavor is yet offered as a low fat selection.
If you have read this far and want to try this flavor, I have two coupons to give away today that is for the blueberry muffin pop tarts only. Both are 55 cents off one 8 ct box. I recieved in the mail the other day a sample of Dropps laundry detergent. This company sent them to me to use and write about my experience using the detergent. First off, Dropps Laundry Detergent is in little packets that you "dropp" (love the name) into the washing machine. The packets are premeasured for each load.
Dropps is 6X consentrated so the packets are tiny. It is so amazing that this little packet will clean a whole load of laundry. For a small or medium load you use on packet and for a large load you use 2 packets.
With the packaging and concentration of the detergent this is an awesome green product. It is so concentrated that it uses less water to produce, the big plastic containers are not needed, they can ship more in smaller containers to where fewer trucks are needed, it is Enzyme-free, NPE - free, Phosphate-free , biodegradable and safe for the septic tanks.
These packs are so handy to use. They are premeasured, the casing desolves in the wash for no mess with dripps or spills. There is no waste because you will never have to fight to get the last drop out of the container. The detergent is formulated to work in all temperatures, with all fabrics, with all colors and all washers. (even the HE washers.)
I am excited about this product. Convienence is a must when you have a busy family. Plus if you are like me..... i don't like to spend my time in the laundry room so if there is any way to make it easier, I welcome it.

I have had the chance to try the Zuvo Water Purator for the past 2 weeks. I wanted to use it for a while before writing about it to you. We have always used the water dispenser that is in the door of our refrigerator for our drinking water plus bought bottles of water to carry with us.
The best testimony that I can give is one that my son gave me.
When I first received the unit to test, my 16 year old was negative regarding having to change his routine of getting the glasses ready for dinner. We all drink water at dinner. He said that the water from the refrigerator is just the same as the water from the Zuvo Water Purator. This week, my son came in from mowing and needed a drink of water. The sink area was being used so I just filled up a glass of water from the refrigerator dispenser. He stopped me and said, why are you not using the Zuvo? "The water taste better and it is not as cloudy."
Wow, if a 16 year old can recognize the difference, then there has to be something right about this process.
The process that the water goes through to be drinkable is amazing. You get to watch it right before your eyes. Here is a You Tube video from the company that shows the process.
This product was also interesting to me because our our heart for Honduras. Clean drinking water is not always available to the people of La Paz. I was excited about testing this unit to see if it would be one that we could start taking to Honduras with us. I think the unit is compact enough to travel with, I think the filter would last long enough for the cost to not be high to maintain. The only concern I would have it the connection to the water outlets. That is something that would just have to be worked on from case to case.
I will be posting a personal video soon. I want to continue to try this unit out through the end of the month to see how the rest of my family reacts. I personally love drinking the water from this unit. I am not a water drinker and have to force myself to drink water but since I have been using this unit, I have found, I go back and refill my glass more often than I had before.
